Gitata (Nasarawa State), April 12, 2018 (TNE) The paralysis-afflicted family of eight in Nasarawa State has provided
communication and bank details for philanthropists willing to assist them.
Mr Danlami Danladi, the eldest son of the family of late Danladi Bawa, provided the contact details when journalists visited the family at Gitata, Karu Local Government Area of the state, on Thursday.
Danlami said any body interested in helping the family could reach them on: +234 808 665 2450 or use the bank account of their sibling, Ms Hannatu Danladi – account number 2074713000 at UBA.
Accroding to him, six members of the family are paralaysed, but Hannatu is still healthy to make bank transactions.
Danlami is among the six members of the family of eight who got paralysed when they were afflicted with a strange ailment.
Danlami said that their father died in 1990, while their mother died in 2017, though not from the mysterious ailment.
“Our parents did not die of this disease. They gave birth to eight of us and six of us have been paralysed by a mysterious ailment.
“When we grow up and reach the age of 18, we find ourselves paralysed.
We don’t know why this kind of disease should hit us.”
He renewed the family’s appeal to the Federal and Nasarawa State Governments as well as well meaning Nigerians and NGOs to help them with the provision of foodstuff, medical needs and economic empowerment to improve their standard of living.
